DEAD LETTUCE TO BRING CRUNCHY FUZZ TO DESERTFEST 2017!

Despite their name suggesting otherwise, Dead Lettuce bring the freshest, crunchiest stoner/grunge fusion this side of anywhere.

Slow, deliberate and absolutely drowning in fuzz, Dead Lettuce are Bournemouth’s answer to the question “How exactly does one create a psychgasm?” Musically, Dead Lettuce scratch all the right stoner itches; meandering jams, liberal distortion and killer riffs. Vocally, however, the band have mixed in the raw energy of early grunge. It’s a combination not often seen in this scene, but works a treat.

The band’s debut EP, 2015’s Booze & Blues, documents an almost primal sound from the title track right through to closer “Big White Dog.” If even half as fun live as on record, this is a band who should be twice as fun as many bands on the bill. Be sure to make Dead Lettuce one of your five a day at Desertfest 2017.
