In 2014, Steak took their rightful place among the forerunners of our beloved London scene with their Napalm Records debut album, Slab City. The result of a pilgrimage to the Californian sands that birthed desert rock itself, it was imbued with that same spirit, and a powerful reminder of what we all loved so much about it in the first place.

But Slab City also moved that classic sound forward, and as they head to Desertfest 2017, Steak are moving forward as well. Their second long-player, No God to Save, will be out in time for April, and Desertfest will be their first UK performance of 2017 before they head out on a full European tour to support it.

In addition to the new album and tour, Steak will also have the first-issue of their full 26-page comic book, which is being released through Geeky Comics ready in time. What new adventures will be in store? Find out as Steak are welcomed home as conquering heroes at Desertfest 2017!
