Indica Blues are a four-piece psychedelic doom and stoner rock band from Oxford, founded in 2014. Once described as “bong filling rock that is platinum heavy, but blessed with a melodic sensibility underneath it all,” they are best known for long songs, psychedelic, blues-based guitar solos and fuzz heavy riffs interspersed with clean vocals.
Their last album, We Are Doomed, released on APF Records, received 4/5 stars in Kerrang, who described it as “unrepentant nihilism.”
Since their formation in 2014 and release of the doom charts listed EP “Ruins on the Shore” they have gigged across the UK supporting stoner rock and doom luminaries such as Elder, Samsara Blues Experiment and Conan.
In 2025 they will release their third album, “Universal Heat Death” on Majestic Mountain Records.
