Komodor is raw, authentic high-energy rock straight from the extreme west of Brittany, more precisely from Douarnenez. The band isn’t here to dust off the old sound, but while drawing inspiration from classic codes, they bring a breath of modernity to their universe: gritty guitars, harmoniously intertwined vocals, and an undeniable groove. Their style, organic and wild, pulls no punches.

After the release of their debut album *Nasty Habits* in December 2021, which was praised by critics in outlets such as *Rolling Stone*, *Rock & Folk*, *Libération*, *Society*, and *Rock Hard Germany*, Komodor spent two years on the road, pouring their energy into live performances and building a solid reputation. In parallel, they explored new musical horizons with their side project *Komodrag and the Mounodor*, which led them on a four-year tour across France.

Now, the band returns to their roots with a second album that carries more nuance and depth. This new release marks a significant musical evolution: more personal, freer, it moves away from conventions to embrace a more authentic approach. With a subtle mix of influences and creative boldness, they prove that their music has never been more contemporary, all while maintaining the madness and raw energy that defines them. Staying true to their legendary influences like MC5, David Bowie, and T. Rex, Komodor injects a wild poetic streak into their daring compositions, drawing from the world around them to inspire songs of intense power.

The five members of Komodor have played stages across France, Spain, and Germany, lighting up festivals such as Freak Valley Fest, Motocultor, and Fête du Bruit, where they gained attention for their explosive stage presence and ability to captivate the crowd. Komodor is more than just a band, it’s an experience in itself!
