The newest signing to Rise Above Records/Popclaw Records, Scott Hepple and The Sun Band are a Psychedelic Garage Rock band from Newcastle, UK.
In the last 12 months, the band have toured the UK and Europe extensively in support of two self-released albums, played alongside LOVE, Acid Mothers Temple, Hooveriii, GIFT and has had support shown by Third Man Records, Rough Trade and BBC Radio 6 since they’re forming in early 2023.
They recently released 7″ single ‘Smoke and Frown’ on August 23rd, their first release under the cult record label, and more new music is expected in 2025. For fans of Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Osees.”
