F.A.Q.

Where and when is the festival?

Desertfest 2020 takes place across multiple venues in Camden, London from the 1st to 3rd May 2020.

How do I get to Desertfest

Whether travelling by car, air or public transport, getting to Desertfest is easy. We have information available here to help you out.

What time does the festival start/finish?

We open doors at midday on the Friday. First bands start from 1/2 PM at our smaller venues with the main venues opening from 4 PM each day. The final bands finish around 11 PM on the Sunday, but we do have after parties running into the early hours if you've got anything left in the tank. Full info on times will be released around a month before the festival.

Are there still tickets available?

Yes. Tickets are available here.

How do dice mobile tickets work?
Are there no physical ticket available?

The short answer is no, we don't post out physical tickets in advance - all tickets are exchanged for a wristband on arrival. It takes less than a minute to create an account with DICE to purchase an e-ticket. Download the app on the App Store or Google Play, enter your phone number, tap a few buttons and you're in.

Head to your Tickets tab, and you'll see a list of all your upcoming events. Tap on 'Desertfest 2020' to see your ticket

In order to combat touting/scalping, the QR code that gets you into the festival won't appear until two hours before the event. Dice always send a back-up door list to the ticket exchange ahead of the event, so if you have any technical difficulties on the day, you will always be granted entry by showing a valid photo ID that matches the name on your tickets.

If you can't see your ticket email help@dice.fm.

My friend bought me a ticket, we won't be arriving together.
How do I get in if the tickets are one their dice account?

Sending tickets to your pals is super simple on DICE. First off, just make sure they have a DICE account, as we can only transfert tickets between DICE users.
Head to the Tickets tab in the app, and tap on the ticket you want to send. At the bottom of the screen you'll see the option to Send To A Friend. Tap it, enter your buddy's number and you're all good.
If you have any issues transferring your tickets or have any questions about this feature, just holler at help@dice.fm.

Does my weekend ticket get me into every venue?

Yes. Your weekend ticket is a 3-day pass allowing you into every venue associated with Desertfest. Please note, however, that if a venue is at max capacity it will operate on a one in one out system.

When will day tickets be available?

Day tickets go on sale when we announce the individual day line ups. This is generally in the last few months before the festival. Consider signing up to our newsletter so you know the second they're on sale.

Is there age restrictions?

Yes - Due to Desertfest being a multi venue festival and the venues having different rules on under 18's attending, Desertfest has a strict over 18's policy.

Are you taking applications for the next festival? Can I submit my band demo to you?

We receive requests from many bands wishing to play Desertfest on a daily basis via multiple channels. Due to lack of man-power and only a few slots available to bands, we are unable to listen to what we are sent.

What is your refund policy?

Desertfest has a strict no refund policy, unless something has happened in extreme circumstances.
