Sagan are essentially a rock band that incorporates elements of prog and metal.
Born from the death of several bands in the High Wycombe area of the UK Sagan is comprised of singer/ guitarist Will Stapleton, Drummer Tim Gardiner, guitarist Tom Wright and bassist Nick Mighall.
They started jamming with no discussion of what style to play or direction to go, setting no parameters to song length or style.
What emerged was six tracks containing elements of prog, classic rock, metal and at times post rock.
Although none of the songs on the EP are less than six minutes long the band never lose sight of the importance of having a song at the heart of each track
